2017 Survey Results

Here are the results for the offseason survey:

1. Do you plan on returning to the league for the 2017 season?

*In order to proceed in our off-season it is helpful to have a count of those owners who will or will not be returning.*

2. Should the league format be changed?

*The question here is if we should move to another league format. My current ideas would be two conferences, three divisions, or remaining the same. Any change will obviously change our playoff format which if we went away from what we have now I would need to think about how to handle.*

3. Should the league divisions be changed?

*The question here is if regardless of the chosen league format should the league keep the same divisions or should the divisions be re-done and randomly selected?*

4. Do we need to reform the current rules surrounding keepers?

*In the current format teams would be able to keep up to 7 players: 3 non-rookie rights players, 2 first year rookie rights players, and 2 second year rookie rights players. This has created a pseudo-dynasty league. Do you think that we need a change in these rules?*

Based on our results, we are going to move to two-conferences and we will be randomly drawing these new conferences at the league happy hour. I read the comments about the potential for new keeper rules and I would really love to have a broader discussion with the league about what we want to do with the keepers in the future. For the upcoming season we will use the same keeper rules we always have but I am more than open to making some modifications as necessary if that's what we would like to do moving forward.
